We love this open and airy designer space.

Interior designer Alda Pereira let us peek inside her personal home for our January 2014 Designers at Home issue, and we’ve been holding her eclectic living space up as a gold standard for small spaces ever since. Her townhouse is full of smartly curated pieces in the photos below, but it’s likely that the room looks nothing like this today. As she told us in the story, furniture and accessories come and go, creating an ever-evolving look that expresses her current aesthetic interests and inspirations. One thing that doesn’t change with the seasons, though? The art. “I still have pieces I’ve had for most of my life,” says Pereira.
