Punt’s double-depth bookshelves are made for book lovers.

I’m just back from a few days in Calgary, where I spent some time visiting my favourite shops in the city. One of those is architect Robert Pashuk’s beautifully curated little spot, Pomp and Circumstance, which fronts his busy working studio. He’s just started to stock a great new Spanish line of furniture, Punt, with bookshelves that are now on my dream house wish list. (Yes, I’m one of those vintage types that clings to the printed version of the book, rather than an e-reader.) The beautiful Literatura Light series comes in dozens of finishes—both lacquer and wood—and features a mobile front unit on wheels that literally doubles my book storage potential. (Excellent news, as I’ve currently maxed out the three floor-to-ceiling units I currently own.)Literatura Light storage unit by Punt, price on request, available at Pomp and Circumstance in Calgary.Literatura Light by Punt Literatura Light by Punt
