With its irreverent name clearly pointing to the basis of inspiration (Strip Joint—be sure to include the all-important word “chicken” when googling this restaurant), this bold and brassy take from Amanda Hamilton Interior Design is both a visual showstopper and strategically executed.

Serving as a busy take-out joint and a dine-in restaurant, the room was designed to create a comfortable space for guests to hang out without being interrupted by a steady stream of Uber Eats drivers. And what a hang-out space it is: vibrant colour blocking, geometric and curvilinear shapes, bold neon lighting, bossy terrazzo and multicoloured acrylics create a captivating and Instagram-worthy backdrop for a restaurant that features chicken fingers with a twist.
