Because we can’t stop, won’t stop eating awesome dinners.

(Photo Credit: Eat North)Back by popular demand, Eat North, founded by food enthusiasts Dan Clapson, Diana Ng and Dave Wilkinson, is set to host the second Prairie Grid Dinner Series: From Dawn to Dusk mid-September to early-October this year. The event, kicking off on September 27th in Calgary at the Calgary Shrine Centre will journey to Winnipeg on October 4th with layovers in Edmonton’s CKUA Performance Hall on September 29th and Saskatoon on October 2nd. (Photo Credit: Eat North)The five-course dinner series, inspired by the rising and setting of the sun, puts the spotlight on a new roster of talented chefs including Bridgette Bar’s JP Pedhirney, Hearth’s Thayne Robstad and Beth Rogers, and one of our Foodies of the Year finalist, Chartier’s Steve Brochu. Travelling bar manager, Adrian Chappell of Saskatoon’s celebrated eateries The Hollows and Primal will also be making a guest appearance at the pop-up. Other chefs that will be gracing the event are Jessica Young from Diversity Food Services in Winnipeg, and Mike Robins of Sous Sol, also from Winnipeg. (Photo Credit: Eat North)Together, these chefs will don on artistic aprons created by fashion designer Caitlin Power and use locally harvested ingredients from the four cities to create a visually-stunning, immersive, and all-around tasty experience for attendees seeking fine wine and dine. Look forward to Lindsey Rewuski’s vibrant art piece while snacking on delicious Canadian Beef canapes and custom cured meats (cooked, of course) from Edmonton’s Meuwly’s. The cuisines will be served on amazing ceramic platters by Winnipeg’s Pepo Ceramics that decorates Lisa Brawn’s woodcut table designs. Feel free to pair your meal with the limited edition honey and Saskatoon berry-infused gin or the limited edition Porter’s Tonic rhubarb lavender syrup from Turner Valley’s Eau Claire Distillery. For all-season drinks to top off your evening, Calgary’s Farmer Market and Vine Arts is sure to have your liquor fix.
