Settle into a lazy weekend with a few inspiring interior shots that readers loved on Instagram recently.

If you’re not following us on Instagram yet, feel free to pop on by—we’re always sharing our favourite shots and behind-the-scenes snaps. But until then, take a leisurely gander at four gorgeous spaces (and one beloved Canadian talent) that garnered the most reader swooning over the past month. Consider it your weekend eye candy. Also luxurious are the all-white walls, which feel anything but stark. Rather, there’s a rich elegance in their quiet minimalism, against which treasured pieces pop. Like the lithe form of a Finnish-design floor lamp, with its sculptural shade of pressed-birch slats. Or the rustic, hand-forged iron chandelier that crowns the great room and emphasizes its dramatic height. Other gems are displayed on open shelving and throughout the space: ceramics by Vancouver potter Janaki Larsen, island thrift-store finds like ’70s weavings, driftwood from the beach, a piece of concrete McCarthy found at a construction site. “It’s treasure hunting,” says McCarthy.

A designer’s bright and cozy modern cabin.

Designer Carrie McCarthy’s gorgeous minimalist cabin is the epitome of simple luxury. (And the adorable dog doesn’t  hurt either.) See more from this shoot here.`WL1115.JanisNicolay_buble_2221

Scandinavian-inspired bathroom from Falken Reynolds.

We can’t decide what we like best about this one: the cubic tiles, the furniture-style cabinetry, or the classic white subway tile. (Or is it the chic light fixture? This is a tough one.) Check out the full Falken Reynolds-designed condo here.`DSC_8046-Edit_Courtesy-of-Jamie-Deck-and-Tracey-Ayton
