Likewise, SFU is expanding its Surrey campus with a 160,000-square-foot. The proposed Energy Systems and Environmental Engineering Program is the first of its kind in Western Canada. It will focus on degree programs and research into clean technology and sustainable energy.Increased housing density is coming to the area too.
