It's a real trick to create a space that's both casual and sophisticated, but Vancouver designer Gaile Guevara has accomplished just that in this dining room. The burgundy upholstered seats are simple, but the rich fabric adds texture and depth to the otherwise light and airy space. And with only six dining chairsintentionally fewer than what could actually fit at the extra-large tableguests have plenty of room to settle in for after-dinner conversations.
