Alberta's first craft distillery opens a new visitor centre and tasting room located in historic Turner Valley

Craft distilling lovers rejoice! Eau Claire Distillery has opened its doors to the public, allowing guests 18+ to partake in visitor tours and tastings. For $10, guests will take a tour of the property and learn the history of distilling in Turner Valley during the tumultuous prohibition era. All tours include a tasting of Eau Claire’s award-winning sprits: Three Point Vodka and Parlour Gin (if it suits you, you can skip the tour and head straight for the gin for $6.50). Housed in a 1923 converted movie theatre, the distillery is open for public visits from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday until September 30, 2015.DK4_3926Reservations are not required, but larger groups are advised to call ahead at (403) 933-5404.
