We scour the West each month for the coolest new products for home and lifestyle. Here’s what caught our eye this month.

All Lit Up | On the far wall of the dining room is a painting by Ojibway artist Terry McCue, The Red Flag, which Glen purchased for Ann as a Christmas present.

We know these Nantucket Flamingo beach towels ($40), spotted at Calgary's new Pottery Barn Kids, are for children, but the saucy nautical bird printed in vibrant colours on cotton velour has us ready for a seaside adventure, too. Pottery Barn Kids, Vancouver and Calgary, potterybarnkids.com

The Donkey Sixpack saddle-style bike bag ($70) can holster half a dozen beers, but you can fill the pockets with wine and a rolled-up magazine instead if that's your picnic preference. Twisted Goods, Calgary and Saskatoon, twistedgoods.com

The grey crackle finish of this Rina Menardi ceramic bowl ($399)€”handmade in Italy using centuries-old techniques€”echoes the natural texture of a seashell. Provide, Vancouver, providehome.com

When it's time to paint, poring over colour swatches is half the fun. So it's no surprise we€™re tickled by the aluminum Normann Copenhagen Watch Me wall clock ($69), a design inspired by swatch fans. Mint Interiors, Vancouver, mintinteriors.ca

You don€™t need a special occasion to doll up your space with these pretty paper Färgton decorations (from $5)€”the beauty of the colourful ombré pinwheels are a great excuse for a party in and of themselves. Ikea, across the West, ikea.ca

The Natuzzi Cosmo floor lamp ($1,679) is a light source, but it's also a stunning sculptural piece, produced from perforated metal in white, coffee or siren red. Sandy's Furniture, Coquitlam, B.C., sandysfurniture.ca; Revolve Furnishings, Calgary, revolvefurnishings.com; Scandia Furniture, Edmonton, scandiafurniture.com.

Calligaris collaborated with Christian Dal Bianco on the arabesque-screen-printed Damasco mirror (from $231), and the result reflects (pun intended) a shared love of bold style. Studio Y Design, Victoria, studioydesign.ca; Calligaris, Vancouver, calligarisstore.ca; Le Belle Arti, Calgary and Edmonton, lebellearti.com

Diamonds are forever, but finished with chic rose gold, the geometric, glass-topped Nuevo Living Diamond coffee table ($1,700) manages to be of the moment, too. Monarch Boutique, victoriamonarchfurnishings.com; Novo Furniture, Vancouver, novofurniture.com; The Other Room, Calgary and Vancouver, theotherroom.ca; Urban Living, Calgary, urbanlivingcalgary.com; Inspired Home Interiors, Edmonton, inspiredhomes.ca

Nothing says summer quite like Marimekko's bold prints, and the new line of colourful floral Sitruunapuu cushions ($45) are no exception. Marimekko Vancouver, Vancouver, marimekkovancouver.com; Kit, Calgary, kitinteriorobjects.com; Palliser Rooms EQ3, Saskatoon, pallisereq3.com; EQ3, Winnipeg, eq3.com

The flat finish of the Vera Wang Polished Noir cutlery set ($140) brings an element of natural cool to the dinner table. Crocus and Ivy, Regina, crocusandivy.com; Hudson's Bay, across the West, thebay.com

The Gus Modern Margot sofa ($2,450) has the sleek lines of a mid-century piece, but decked out in rich blue or gold velvet and perched on slim brass legs, it's rocking some serious €™70s glam, too. Chester Fields, Victoria, chester-fields.com; Stylegarage, Vancouver, stylegarage.com; Crave Furniture, Calgary, cravefurniture.com; Inspired Home Interiors, Edmonton, inspiredhomes.ca

Tiffany and Co. founder Charles Lewis Tiffany was the man to coin the phrase €œa New York minute,€ so it's not surprising to see the brand's watch collection so expertly executed. Our fave? The art deco East West watch ($4,400), featuring a sideways dial on a black alligator strap. Tiffany and Co., Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, tiffany.ca
