Glowbal Restaurant Group opens up a grab-and-go eatery-pâtisserie in downtown Vancouver.

We’re not sure it’s possible to be everything to everyone, but new Vancouver restaurant-café hybrid Nosh is giving it a fair shot. It’s grab-and-go, it’s sit-down, it’s cocktails between business meetings—a certifiable triple threat, if our calculations are correct. You can find the room (for all your brunch-to-late-night-bite and beverage needs) on the bottom floor of the new Telus Garden building in downtown Vancouver (510 Georgia St.). In the chic, leather-and-wood-lined space, source breakfast, wraps, pastries, entrees and more to sit-in or take to go. And canapés, charcuterie, salads and beefy artisanal sandwiches are available by the box for boardroom meetings and staff breakout sessions, with lunch for five at $50 and lunch for 15 at $200 (delivery available downtown).WL was on the scene for the press party July 16, where a throng of journalists and bloggers trailed an enthusiastic Emad Yacoub, owner of Glowbal Restaurant Group, on a tour through/around and between the eatery’s aisles and tables (snatching circulating canapés and bubbly as we went!).
