Van Gogh Designs debuts its new 90,000-square-foot showroom space in Surrey.

Van Gogh Designs‘ new 90,000-square-foot showroom in Surrey could have been lined wall-to-wall with rows of products in different fabrics and colours, but the furniture manufacturer decided to take a different approach.Instead you’ll find the massive space divided into 11 houses’ worth of rooms. This way you can walk through (without feeling overwhelmed by thousands of products) and digest each piece “in its natural habitat,” says designer Glen Peloso. Each ‘room’ has a colour theme so designers and customers can view various pieces in similar colours together. According to Peloso, this will help homeowners picture the piece in their own spaces with their existing furniture and colour patterns.MORE: 6 New Hot Rooms Opening Up Across the WestSince the showroom sells exclusively to designers and retailers, but was created with the same interiors and decor of a home, designers are encouraged to bring their clients into the space to show specific pieces. Workstations complete with desks, computers and outlets are also on hand to help with the selection process.Peloso and fellow designer Jamie Alexander have their own section in the showroom, which is full of furniture featuring fabrics and upholstery of their own design. Van Gogh Designs also carries a variety of chic modern products from The Goods, along with their own custom designs.Van Gogh Designs: 19178 34A ave, Surrey, vangoghdesigns.com.
