Grab a mapthese Victoria events have you guiding yourself around the city this May.
Many artists call Victoria home, and now they’re letting you explore their homes and their work.With two self-guided tours in May, you can immerse yourself in the city’s art and culture scene by visiting homes of local artists. Also running this month is a special home tour showcasing spaces that have recently been renovated and decorated (and you know we love us a home tour). This event is perfect for those who have never been to an art show as well as seasoned collectors. The event immerses you in a wide variety of works presented by a group of multimedia artists throughout Victoria. There is no one location for the event as it’s scattered throughout the city of Victoria (you can find a full listing of artists here). Each artist will be present with their artwork and be available for comments, questions and purchase info. The annual event has been running for 13 years now and aims to bring more art to the local Victoria neighbourhood every year.

The fifteenth annual Fairfield Artists Studio Tour offers visitors access to artists in their own studios to view their work including painting, pottery, glass, jewellery, textiles and photography. The event celebrates the work of both established and emerging artists, and is a self-guided tour through the Fairfield neighbourhood in Victoria.

If you are in the process of renovating or redecorating your own space, or if you just enjoy seeing what other people have done with their spaces, check out the Young Life Home Design and Reno Tour. This annual self-guided tour is in its twenty-sixth year, and proceeds support the non-profit organization Young Life. The tour includes 12 homes around Victoria and allows the visitors to talk to the contractors and designers of each space.
