The brand-new 2018 collection from Minotti embraces global talent.
2018 is a very special year for Minotti: a breakthrough in the company’s evolutionary path. Having reached its seventieth anniversarya milestone that attests a strong commitment to interior designMinotti is celebrating with a brand new, multifaceted collection, featuring pieces from contributors whose design philosophies are rooted in various cultural backgrounds. It’s a collection that keeps intact the values so dear to Minottielegance of forms, sobriety in design and continuity in the tradition inherent to its DNabut embraces the solicitations coming from different cultures, too.Entirely coordinated by Rodolfo Dordoni, as a sign of continuity, the Minotti 2018 collection welcomes the stylistic input of four international designers. Dordoni himself is from Italy, and has been part of the success of Minotti’s adventure for now twenty years; with this special collection, he reaffirms his unmistakable style while embracing international talent.Linked to the principles of both rationalism and interior decoration, Dordoni’s own timeless pieces, which are the perfect expression of Minotti identity, carry references to the world of contemporary art. Alexander Seating System, Rodolfo Dordoni design for MinottiFrom Japan, Nendo brings his light graphic tone: with the subtle poetry that runs through his designs, the attention to volumes, thicknesses and unexpected details that invites everyone to discover his creations closely. Tape Collection, Nendo design for MinottiFrom France, Christophe Delcourt reconnects Minotti with the affection of French culture for decoration, precious materials, surfaces worked with artisanal savoir-faire and fine cabinetmaking, combined with high-end technologies. Dan Table, Christophe Delcourt design for MinottiFrom Brazil, Marcio Kogan conveys his architectural approach to outdoor designs, borrowing elements and materials from the worlds of nature and yachting, abolishing the boundaries between inside and outside. Quadrado Modular System, Marcio Kogan/Studio Mk27 design for MinottiThe 2018 Collection interprets all these stimuli and declares its gaze on the future, inserting the symbol of the infinite into its name. An infinite present that marks the evolution of Minotti’s design strategy, transversal in style and languages.
